Winter Solstice Retreat

As the longest night approaches and nature quietens, the Winter Solstice invites us to pause and soften. What may be a busy time of year for many of us, is also an opportunity to turn inward, honour rest, and reconnect with the light we carry within, even amidst the darker season.
Join us for a restorative evening of gentle beginner-friendly yoga, nourishing breathwork, and quiet reflection on the year gone by. We’ll settle into the season with Christmas crafting and cosy, warming refreshments, welcoming winter’s magic with intention and presence. You’ll leave feeling calm, grounded, and softly renewed.
What to Expect:
Arrive to a warm, candlelit space, where soft flickering light and a crackling fire instantly invites you to slow down and breathe. You’ll be welcomed with a comforting winter drink and seasonal snacks before we gather and gently settle into the energy of the solstice, honouring this moment of stillness and quiet reflection together.
You’ll be guided through grounding meditation and nourishing breathwork, easing into a gentle, restorative yoga session designed to melt tension and invite rest. Expect slow, peaceful poses that help you return to your breath and unwind from the pace of the season.
After a long, cosy savasana, we’ll enjoy a comforting bowl of homemade soup with crusty bread before moving into our festive creative activity. You’ll be guided through a Christmas crafting session, creating a keepsake to take home as a reminder of this evening of calm and connection.
We’ll close in circle, honouring the turning of the season and the light beginning to return. You’ll leave feeling rested, centred, and gently renewed, ready to step into winter with a little more warmth and ease.
